Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than 20 years. She was best known for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton on the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy and Ashley have raised her in Lake Mary Florida. She also has an older sister named Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons with Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for an additional entry after she was cast as "Nashville". Peeples played a role as a guest in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She was in television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major role in The Good Mother, a Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples talked about her bipolar disorder during an interview she conducted to NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the top actors aged under twenty years old in September 2014.
